A light & refreshing smoothie is the PERFECT way to start your day, end your workout, and can even provide a great opportunity to give the kids a wholesomely delicious snack! Sent in by Lillian Vargas from San Antonio, TX, this Tropical Blueberry Smoothie recipe is a great one to keep in your back pocket – especially with Spring quickly approaching! What you need:
2 Cups fresh or slightly thawed frozen blueberries
1 Cup low-fat vanilla yogurt
6 Ounces low-fat milk
12 Ounces pineapple juice
3 Tbsp. honey
12-16 Ice cubes
Directions: (Approximate cook time: 5 minutes; Serving size – 4 adults)

Place all ingredients, except the ice cubes, into container of electric blender; Blend on high until smooth.

With blender running, add 2-3 ice cubes at a time through center opening in the lid, until all ice cubes have been added.

Blend until smooth; Serve immediately.
